One of the biggest or best ways that you can grow is by apologizing for any missteps in your past, whenever you overreached beyond your lane and negatively impacted the lane of another. You can (and probably should) apologize for your past action. There is no need to go into detail if you do not want to. However, do not seek a certain response. Your own apology recognizes your own growth. You have come to realize an error upon reasonable rumination. Responsibly reconcile your rationale to rid yourself of ridiculous repetitions of unruly reactions in order to rightfully renew you. It is not easy to own up to something in your past that you are not proud of, but if it is still on your mind from time to time, then why not grow beyond or past it finally? Even though it is not easy… it is worth it :)

every time someone
loves themselves better,
builds their self-awareness,
understands their patterns,
improves their ability to communicate,
and expands their compassion for others,
the future of humanity grows brighter.
your healing impacts the world
by bringing in new peace.

Such an apologetic action can be well beyond our starting comfort zone. I have practiced this skill a number of times at this point, and I can easily say that it gradually grew easier with each outreach and exchange. The emotional equalization that it emitted within me expands exponentially. I am eagerly enthused to educate and elucidate on this exercise.

As your comfort zone enlarges, you have more room to grow in.

Your roots can extend further. Your fruits may multiply or ripen.

Trust your gut. Let it guide you on a way to healing and growth.

your intuition will lead you outside your comfort
zone so that you can grow

What have you last created? Perhaps an email, a text message, or a meal? Have you ever stopped to consider that these things are all creations? It is an interesting insight that I certainly had not slowed down enough to appreciate and reflect upon in this way til now. This shift in perspective makes me value the consideration and effort that I pour into all of these acts. I seek to create as much beauty as I can, in what I write or type; in what I cook or do. All of life can be our art form if we but only choose to see it in such a light like I do.

Practicing an art,
no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow,
for heaven’s sake.
Sing in the shower.
Dance to the radio.
Tell stories.
Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem.
Do it as well as you possibly can.
You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.

-Kurt Vonnegut

Creating something new can definitely feel awkward and uncomfortable at first. You may fumble and fail, but you can choose to not stay defeated. Try til you die. Perhaps that is my philosophy on growth. I can confidently say that I am proud of who and how I am now compared to in the past. I did the best that I knew how before, but I do better now for sure. The world around me is livelier now, too. It grows alongside me as my inner light brightens. Will I ever finish, maximize, or peak at a point on my personal growth journey? Time will tell :) I happily welcome this adventure, though, and do not tire of trying more.

Things do not
grow better;
they remain as they are.
It is we who grow better, by the changes we make in ourselves.

-Swami Vivekananda

I wish you success on your personal growth path.

My final sugjestion this cycle is to make your lane

as bright and beautiful as possible. Grow it :) <3

Maybe it is wise. Maybe it is dumb. Time will tell.
