Would you consider yourself to be a genuine soothsayer or a swindling smoothsayer? Are you authentically speaking truths to benefit all, or are you only saying what the other person wants to hear (or does not even want to hear) in order to get what you want?

Which feels better? It does not matter which gets you more in the moment. If you think like that, then it is likely that you are only seeing with two eyes what is immediately in front of you. You are seeking instant gratification. Anything attained inauthentically will catch up with you. That karmic seed will be sowed. When you eventually reap it, well, time will tell. I cannot foretell those specifics, but it will catch up with you at some point.
By being authentically who you are, you might be slower in becoming successful, but you’re going to be slowly gathering people who are your tribe, your kinda folks.

What truly matters is what gets all the most in the long-run. Which best and authentic action can help you balance out your soul’s scales? Selfish swines will be left to brine amidst terrible tines. Authentic aspirants will be assured of their admirable actions to advance angelically. Genuinely, it is unbecoming to pursue a life full of any swindling.
Maybe it is wise. Maybe it is dumb. Time will tell.
