I mourn for those who have given up on and stopped their dreams. If you stop dreaming, then you are only sleeping. If you sleep, then you do not wake. So, what remains at that point? Many empty boats. Guess what, though? They do not have to remain empty forever. We can captain our ships again and navigate towards our dreams. We can steer our lives in the best direction possible. Are you steering, or are you asleep at the wheel?
You have to look deeper, way below the anger, the hurt, the hate, the jealousy, the self-pity, way down deeper where the dreams lie… Find your dream. It’s the pursuit of the dream that heals you.
-Billy Mills
We do not need to remain asleep. Sure, we all have waking moments, but many have them few and far between mindless dreams. Mindful dreams are very different and essential to create our best lives. Most may consider your actions and ideas to be foolish, but that is simply because it is easier for them to criticize someone else for daring to dream instead of doing the same themselves. How many armchair quarterbacks versus players on the field? I encourage you to hold onto your dreams courageously and confidently. Naysayers will abound; do not join them in the sea with all the drowned.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.
-Oriah Mountain Dreamer
Don’t be afraid to be ambitious about your goals. Hard work never stops… neither should your dreams.
-Dwayne Johnson
We can dream at any point and any place. It does not have to be a race.
Enjoy each step. Soak up the view. Listen and look for your next clue.
Live your life for as long as you can. Uncover and follow each step of God’s plan.
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
-Les Brown
A [person] is not old until regrets take the place of dreams.
-John Barrymore
If you are not living your dream, then what is going on? Are you living someone else’s or your nightmare? Flip the script; turn the page. Choose your next dream; escape the cage. Divine your best path; be your own sage. Dream a dream of peace without any rage.
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
-Eleanor Roosevelt
Some dreams can be scary, but then we wake up. All things will end, even the hiccups. We can listen and learn; we should dream and yearn. Find out what works best to pass the next test. Believe me or not, that is your choice, but here I still am writing my voice. This once was my dream, and yet it may seem, that this bright beam, will lead me toward an ideal team. I dream of working in collaboration, for the collective peace within my imagination. That is also a dream, and a plan, to spread love far and wide, across all land.
Maybe it is wise. Maybe it is dumb. Time will tell.
