I am thankful for ascended masters. Great saints, yogis, buddhas, and avatars who have lived inspirational lives and left valuable lessons and examples for us to study, learn from, follow after, and build upon. Fine figures like Saint Teresa, Sai Baba, Saint Francis, Paramahansa Yogananda, Jesus, and Lao Tzu, just to name a few. In any day and age, imagine how difficult it must be, at least at times, to be so distinctly different. An incredibly individuated individual, independent of ideological identity, imparting idealistic impeccability impactfully. The degree of determination required exceeds the ordinary.

How often do we place them on pedestals? Why do we isolate and separate them from us? What if we begin to treat them as exemplary role models to follow in the footsteps of? Less worship of past prophets and pivotal people. More pursuit of perpetuating their positive, pure purpose. Is it easy? Not in the slightest. Is it worth it? I cannot think of anything else more worthwhile. It drives my determination to live my best possible life.

My faith has been growing and slowly solidifying so strongly as of late. It allows me to now direct my next steps with even more determination. Others will definitely disagree with me at times. I will do my best to still listen, but I will only be dissuaded when sense dictates it. Determination does not mean stubbornness; it means knowing and adhering to the best plan. We cannot see the full path ahead. Others may help us swerve around obstacles while we maintain a dedicated direction with diligence. Listen and learn well.
Determination will make you find the path to your goals. It will cause you to educate yourself on what it will take to reach your goals. It will move you to take the path less traveled and it will push to do the work that’s required to reach your goals.

We can learn so much from those who have come before us. I know I certainly have. They may not physically walk the Earth like us anymore, yet they still remain accessible. I am determined to continue listening and learning for as long as I can because that good work leads to my golden goal. Advancing my knowledge and well-being improves my service.
You can find inspiration from others but determination is solely your responsibility.

Ascended masters can and should inspire us deeply and greatly. Their heartfelt and long-lasting accomplishments and feats do not grant us the right or privilege to rest on their laurels. They serve as motivation and fodder or kindling for our own fire and determined drive. They have done mighty and miraculous things. Now, it is our turn to do the extra.
Maybe it is wise. Maybe it is dumb. Time will tell.
